The four shrines of the Garhwal Himalaya, undertaken by pilgrims for centuries and still the most demanding journey in Hindu India. This is a serious undertaking rather than a sightseeing tour: Kedarnath and Badrinath both lie above 3,000 metres, Yamunotri and Kedarnath are reached only on foot or by pony, palki or helicopter, and the temples open and close with the mountain season. Please read the notes below before booking.
